Breakfast might include pumpkin pancakes, fresh country sausage or smoked bacon, lemon glazed fruit muffins, savory cheese grits, fresh fruit compotes, herb and cheddar omelets made with the Inn’s own fresh eggs.

Breakfasts are served in the sunny Virginia Room and elegant dining room, and are generous enough to keep you going all day. Sandy’s creativity with breakfast stems from a love of cooking, classical training and a Southern aim to please. Her delicious dishes are complemented with herbs and edible flowers from the Inn’s gardens.

However, breakfast is the only meal we serve. For your other meals, we recommend these restaurants.

Wake up from a restful night's sleep in one of our comfy four-poster beds, listen to the birds sing and think only of the bountiful breakfast awaiting you and the idea that you can choose to do a lot – or a little – on your vacation in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

The spacious guestrooms feature four-poster beds with soft linens, slowly turning Victorian ceiling fans, oriental rugs, Shenandoah Valley antiques and fresh flowers. But there are modern comforts as well — an intimate sitting area in all four rooms, cable TV, central air-conditioning, private baths, and refreshments upon your arrival.

If you are looking for lodging at a Bridgewater or Staunton bed and breakfast, the Inn is convenient to shopping, colleges, restaurants and entertainment in both towns.

RATES AND POLICIES

Our rates range from $100-$150. All rates include full breakfast. Rates subject to change and do not include 9% tax.

Children 14 years and up are welcomed.

No facility for pets.

No smoking in the house.

Special Requirements - We do have one inn cat, so if you are highly allergic, you may want to consider this, although she is not allowed in the guest rooms. She loves having guests here, but not other pets!

If there are any special dietary restrictions or requests, please let us know.

Check In between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. (If after 6:00 pm please call ahead.) Check Out by 11:00 am

CANCELLATION POLICY

A credit card will be accepted for reservations or a cash deposit for the full amount of the rental. Reservations cancelled with 7 days notice will not incur any credit card charge or the deposit will be refunded. The credit card will be charged the full amount of the rental or the deposit will not be refunded if the reservations are cancelled with less than 7 day’s notice unless room or rooms can be re-rented.
